NYM Trade: JT Realmuto (C) PHI Ceddane Rafaela (OF) BOS Abimelec Ortiz (1B) TEX
SEA Trade: Max Fried (SP) ATL Kiefer Lord (SP) BAL
Need to keep up in the NL East and think Fried can help. We also decided to turn the catching potion over to Yainer so let’s hope that doesn’t come back to bite us. Expect a 500 word post from Nick lamenting how hard it was for him to deal Abe.

Sea accepts My first trade, as I look at my roster I had a few guys on 1 year deals I wasn’t sure if I wanted to resign or shop, Fried was one I decided to move and I absolutely love the return, JT covers my catcher position for 2024 while I work on building my farm, big gets for me here are Rafaela/Ortiz, Rafaela is a guy I like a lot and should roam the Boston OF for a while, I also love speed and Rafaela has that to go along with some pop should pair quite well with Acuna, Ortiz is a homer get as I’m a Rangers fan and this dude has power for Days, I can only hope he continues to progress..thanks to the Mets for my first trade and good luck!

Abe was my first ever prospect found mining the fangraphs charts early in 2022 when he was just a young, wide-eyed 19 year old in the DSL. Turns out he ended up being pretty good and here we are. As Red Sox fans, Ceddanne was hard to move, having a core of Casas and Ceddane to not only root for fantasy wise, but also IRL for years to come would have been neat. JT was great for us but we ran into a surplus of C with Mitch Garver and Yainer Diaz and a move was necessary.
After moving on from Bieber and seeing the prices in FA market, it was time to use some young assets mixed with a top catcher to fill the need that Bieber left us with in Fried. As for Keifer Lord, I know nothing about him, but a SP named K-Lord sounds a lot better than a DL Hall.
We will circle back in 4 years to see how this pans out. Good deal for both sides IMO
