2023-2024 Off Season FA Bidding Process (First 7 rounds)

- Players will be posted on here on proboards under MLB Free Agency.
- All bids must be 1 point higher than the previous teams bid. (Using the Free Agent Point Calc) <--Clickable link NOTE: If you are adding option years, they DO NOT count toward the total points. See CBA for what is allowed.
- Bidding is starts at 8am on Tuesday and is locked at 5pm on Sunday
- ANY TEAM that places a bid from 12pm to 5pm on Sunday will have the right to blind bid for the player. (Bid will be sent to another owner designated that is not in on the bidding) The blind bid MUST be at least 1 point higher then the highest proboard bid (highest proboard bidder can choose not to increase their bid)
**** If you know you're not going to be available to bid during the 12pm-5pm time frame on Sunday and still want to be involved in the blind bidding, leave your highest bid that your willing to go with the commish team and someone will bid as your proxy (Something like: if my bid isn't still the highest on Sunday at noon, please bid a 5 year contract that is 1 point higher then the current lead bid) ****
Hopefully everyone can carve a minute out in that 5 hour span and check to see if you need to bid again.
EDIT FOR HOLIDAYS:
A change in the free agent timeline to accommodate xmas eve and nye.
Round 4 (12-19 to 12-23 at NOON Eastern any bid on Friday or Saturday allows you to blind bid) Blind bids will have a deadline of midnight on 12-23)
Round 5 (12-26 to 12-30 at NOON Eastern any bid on Friday or Saturday allows you to blind bid) Blind bids will have a deadline of midnight on 12-30)
