Not sure how to handle this ARB (He is in his ARB3)
February 10th he avoids arbitration, $3.45M (which I accept)
February 17th, he signs a 2 year $18.55M extension (2024+2025).
Can I accept everything? It would be:
2023: $3,450,000
2024: $9,000,000
2025: $9,000,000
2026: $900,000 CLUB OPTION
2027: UFA

It says arbitration extension on the extension in spotrac so Im guessing you can accept the entire thing but ill leave it to Los Angeles Angels to make the final call.

The extension has to be agreed to at the time of his arbitration settlement. So, he settled for $3.45m, THEN signed the extension. Therefor he’s not eligible to have his additional years matched.
Had he signed the three year deal when negotiating his ARB salary then yes. But since it came after the fact you only get the one year deal and must be extended on your own.

Ok I understand.
Accept the Arbitration year and then UFA.
